If you wanted to you could spend a whole week on site, doing something different each day. The holiday park Haven have in North Wales at Greenacres is one of the most amazing places in the country. The beach is massively huge with plenty of room for building the biggest sandcastle in the world! You can picnic on the beach, with a backdrop of green mountains and fantastic views along the coast.
They've got a mini golf course which is great fun to go round! You can hire bicycles and take a ride around the site and the nearby village, or even further afield to Porthmadog. There's a brilliant mini railway there where you can ride the train up to Snowdon. Not far away is Portmerion which is very pretty and well worth a look if you've ever seen The Prisoner.
The holiday park itself has a swimming pool, great activity areas for little children, organised activities for the kids and plenty of space to play sports with a great climbing wall too.
Wales is packed with great castles worth a day trip out if you'd like to see further afield, but you really could spend an entire week on site enjoying yourself every minute of the day!
