A lovely campsite with a superb swimming pool complex, an ideal base for exploring the region.

Set in the foothills of the stunning Cévennes mountains, this site is an oasis of trees, tropical plants and flowers, however, pride of place must go to the beautifully designed swimming pool complex, with its terraced pool and children’s pool with unusual bridge. Traditional farm buildings now house the shop and facilities, and there is a modern restaurant and bar. Family activities are organised by the campsite in high season. The site is one and a half miles from Allègre.

Around and About

Vallon Pont d’Arc is the watersports centre of the Ardèche region and is twenty miles from Allègre. Canoeing down the Ardèche can be arranged nearby in high season or visit the many caves and grottoes along the plateau. Explore the extensive Roman remains in the city of Nîmes, less than an hour away or the Medieval town of Uzès with its old streets and herb market.

Marina d’Erba Rossa boasts an excellent range of modern facilities that make it ideal for families of all ages. It’s the idyllic location that will really take your breath away though. A gorgeous sandy beach runs alongside the parc, and views of the mountain range backdrop are nothing short of exquisite. The beach is perfect for sun-worshippers and watersports enthusiasts alike, with a variety of watersports available on the beach from June to August. All of the parc’s facilities are open by early June and in high season, there is an excellent ‘animateur’. There’s also a lively open-air disco on the parc and a popular late night discothèque nearby, which opens in June and can be heard until the early hours.

With quite excellent facilities and an enviable location, this is an ideal base for exploring the area and in low season is super for young families.

Located in the ‘Sports Capital of Austria’, Sportcamp Woferlgut offers both hotel standard facilities and an unsurpassed choice of walks and waterfalls nearby. In addition to the fishing and swimming in the private lake, the parc also features a 150m2 Kinderland and a small swimming pool. You should be aware that access is via an under-pass from the parc, where some road and rail noise can be heard. From May, family sports are organised as well as twice-weekly bbq parties for everyone. Just a few kilometres down the road is Zell am See with its crystal clear lake, said to be the cleanest in Europe and perfect for swimming and watersports, while incredibly, you can also find summer skiing at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

Natterer See really is ideally placed for discovering the mountains of the Tirol on foot, by car or cable-car. Many walking tracks lead directly from the parc and take you from one stunning panorama to another. The owners have gone to great lengths to make it as interesting as possible and everyone is made to feel at home in their immaculately kept parc. Its stunning centrepiece is a lovely mountain lake overlooked by the excellent restaurant and terrace. This is ideal for swimming and features a section reserved for children as well as a popular waterslide and water trampoline. Beyond the parc, the alpine capital city of Innsbruck offers a dynamic mix of culture and history not to be missed.

Sorrento, Capri and Ischia

Week long tour Sorrento, Capri and Ischia - perfect Italian Sunshine!

Planning this week long "fam trip" to allow visits to Pompei and Mount Vesuvius as well as a trip past the concrete factory where they apparently make shoes, as well as visiting the beautifully romantic island of Capri and then on to Ischia another Italian treasure with great sandy beaches and natural thermal springs to enjoy!

After a few days going across to the island of Capri to the the Il
Girasole Hotel provides everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable
holiday, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Capri, an ideal base to explore
the island for a few days.

Finishing off the week with a short stay at the Continental
Terme Hotel which is a Mediterranean style building that offers unusual
fascinating architecture and makes a fantastic base to explore the bigger island
of Ischia.

Dream trip to Capri

Ever since I read a book about a girl who went to Capri I've dreamed of going
there. It was described so beautifully as a romantic beautiful island to visit,
so I've picked this for my dream trip

With Sunshine Holidays I could fly out from Manchester to Naples

on 2nd Aug at 1600 (A very civilised time to fly out!)

Biancamaria Hotel

Situated in the old part of Anacapri, The Biancamaria hotel is perfect for a
quiet, relaxing holiday and I would want a sea view to enjoy the amazing scenery.
This is a great holiday destinations close to w the churches of S.Sofia and
S.Michele giving you a chance to explore the history of the island of Capri
and the romance of the real town.

San Michele Hotel

The San Michele Hotel is a traditional family run hotel surrounded by attractive
gardens set on a cliff. The hotel is located close to the centre of Anacapri
and to the chair lift where guests can go to the highest point of the island
on Monte Solaro.

This gives you a great opportunity to travel to the top of the island to take
in the breathtaking views.

The Floridiana Hotel looks out on to the sea and pine trees, perfect for a relaxing
end to a holiday and wouldbe the perfect place to re-read my favourite book
"I love Capri" by Belinda Jones.
