Domaine des fumades in France - eurocamp holidays

Domaine
des Fumades in France

A great famaily holiday destination in France

Halfway between the Ardèche and the Mediterranean, in the southern part of the Massif Central, Les Fumades is justly popular with our customers. Part of the respected ‘Sites et Paysages’ chain, the parc is fairly quiet and offers absolutely first-class facilities. Some of them, including the excellent restaurant, are housed in the converted farm buildings which border the three lovely pools of the parc’s showpiece swimming complex. Activities and entertainment for all ages are arranged during July and August, but there is much to see and do beyond the parc too. Here, you are surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vineyards, and the whole Camargue is waiting to be discovered.

Domaine des fumades in France - keycamp holiday

Domaine
des Fumades in France

verview

A lovely campsite with a superb swimming pool complex, an ideal base for exploring the region.

Set in the foothills of the stunning Cévennes mountains, this site is an oasis of trees, tropical plants and flowers, however, pride of place must go to the beautifully designed swimming pool complex, with its terraced pool and children’s pool with unusual bridge. Traditional farm buildings now house the shop and facilities, and there is a modern restaurant and bar. Family activities are organised by the campsite in high season. The site is one and a half miles from Allègre.

Around and About

Vallon Pont d’Arc is the watersports centre of the Ardèche region and is twenty miles from Allègre. Canoeing down the Ardèche can be arranged nearby in high season or visit the many caves and grottoes along the plateau. Explore the extensive Roman remains in the city of Nîmes, less than an hour away or the Medieval town of Uzès with its old streets and herb market.
