Going the extra mile - a holiday money saving hint

Sometimes when we want to go somewhere we find out how expensive it is and it puts us off. There are ways round this though - and sometimes getting the map out and looking at nearby resorts can save you loads of money.

Going just a mile up the coast from your preferred resort could save you hundreds of pounds.

Visit your preferred location whilst you're just a mile down the road - you'll find that public transport is often much better than here in the UK, with air conditioning and low fares.

Ask at your hotel for the right bus number to get you there and back and you will find it easy to get to popular places.

By picking a less popular resort you might discover new places and quiet locations which can often be more fun and relaxing than crowded places.
